Taylor Swift is more popular that Beyonce and Kim Kardashian!
The 'Bad Blood' singer has just been crown the most followed person on Instagram - back to back - with a whopping 50 million followers.
Besides being the most liked celebrity of Facebook in 2015 and Billboard's Woman of the Year 2014, the 25-year-old former country star has another title to add which is: The Queen of Instagram! She made history of October 9 when she officially hit the 50 million followers mark, making her account the most followed in the world!
Kim K, 34, followed suit with a disappointing 48.4 million followers while Queen Bey, 34, got the third spot with only 47.5 million followers but apparently, even they aren't strong enough to take down the powerhouse that is Swift!
Naturally, Taylor took to the photo sharing platform to thank all of her adoring fans, saying, "50 million followers! Thanks so much guys. I’m pretty sure this is just because I have cute cats though." She’s not lying!
Then of course, there was her cover for the October 2015 issue of NME magazine, which on top of seeing her posing in a black mesh bra top and an edgy printed bomber jacket, also revealed her desire to take a break from the spoltlight following the end of her incredibly successful 1989 tour. “I think I should take some time off,” Swift said. “I think people might need a break from me. I’m going to … I don’t know. Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don’t know.”
