JUSTIN BIEBER STORMS OFF STAGE

Justin Bieber stormed off stage during his performance in Olso, Norway on Thursday, October 29 just hours after he walked out of an interview with a Spanish radio.
A video has been posted on Twitter of the incident which shows shortly after one of his fans had spilled a beverage on stage. When 21-year-old singer tried to wipe it up, he became irritated as his Beliebers got in the way of him trying to mop up the mess, which caused him to storm off.
While making his way off stage, Bieber tells the crowd, "Yeah, I'm done. I'm not doing the show."
Justin  also walked off on a Spanish radio on October 28 after nine minute interview where he was asked "stupid" questions about his personal life rather than the new  album he was there to promote.
It was obvious Justin became annoyed at the line of questioning during the interview  which culminated in asking him to make 'a crazy video to break the internet' for their 'hundreds of millions of followers'

He also tweeted an apology

THE VERDICT IS BIZARRE- PDP

PDP has described as unacceptable and bizarre the election tribunal verdicts in both Rivers and Akwa Ibom state. The Akwa Ibom state election petition tribunal few days ago had nullified the state governorship election in 18 Local governments and ordered a rerun. PDP's reaction is contained in a statement released this afternoon by its National Publicity secretary Olisa Metuh. Read below

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) declares the verdict of the River state governorship election tribunal sitting in Abuja, which showed clear bias against Governor Nyesom Wike and the PDP, as completely bizarre, unacceptable and part of the script by the APC to manipulate the will of the people.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, in a statement on Saturday said indications to this spurious judgment had months ago been hinted to the PDP, which in turn, alerted the nation and the international community of the heinous plot by the APC government, to use the judiciary and various security agencies to reverse the victory of the PDP in Rivers, Delta, Akwa-Ibom, Taraba and Abia states.
“We invite Nigerians and the international community to recall various reprehensible steps taken by the APC government that culminated in this ruling as well as the ridiculous Wednesday’sverdict of the Akwa-Ibom state governorship election tribunal, also sitting in Abuja.
1. The curious and controversial relocation of the elections tribunals from their states to Abuja without any justification.
2. The constant juggling of judicial officers and members of governorship elections tribunal in PDP states, especially, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states.
3. Constant harassment of judicial and electoral officers involved in the governorship election cases in these state, using agencies of government, particularly, the Directorate of State Services (DSS) under the direct command of a known APC member, Alhaji Lawal Daura.
4. Constant threats, intimidation and coercing of witnesses against the PDP in the tribunals.
5. The recent mass transfer of security operatives, especially the DSS and police personnel that actually participated in the conduct of the elections in Rivers and Akwa-Ibom, ostensibly to frustrate the course of genuine evidences in the process.
“The bias in the judgment against the PDP in Rivers as well as Akwa-Ibom is evidenced in the contradictions inherent in the trial process of the two cases and the verdicts therein, whereby the tribunals clearly disregarded standing legal norm that a petitioner must establish prove of claims.
“Also curious is the fact that after both the petitioner and respondent agreed before the tribunal that both card reader and manual accreditations were used for the election, the tribunal still went ahead to base its decision on issues of card reader.
While it is convenient to them to use legal technicalities to deny PDP victory in Imo, Lagos, Ogun and Yobe states, the same rules are misapplied to wickedly favour APC petitioners in Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states.
“It is therefore evinced that these contradictions are direct fall-out of compromises as well as boasts by the APC of being in direct and remote control of the tribunals. If not, how can one explain the fact that while governorship elections are being upturned in PDP states, in APC states, where similar claims and facts are in contention, elections are being upheld.
“Further proof of bias by the Rivers tribunal is the fact that less than 24 hours after various counsels submitted nine written addresses and documents, the tribunal rushed its notice of judgment, an action ostensibly aimed at ambushing the pending Supreme Court action on the issue of jurisdiction regarding the relocation of the tribunal outside River state, which was due to be delivered on Tuesday.
“This is not withstanding the fact that the tribunal has up to seven days after of receipt of addresses, to deliver its judgment, but chose instead, to rush to deliver this spurious verdict even on a Saturday, a development eliciting suspicion that the judgment may have since been predetermined and written even before the commencement of the case.
“The PDP calls on all Nigerians and the international community to note this growing manipulation of the judiciary by the APC government, a factor which portends great danger to our democracy and the stability of our country.
“Nigerians would want to recall that under the PDP-led government with former President Goodluck Jonathan’s commitment to the tenets of democracy as encapsulated in the safeguard of ‘one man one vote’ and the independence of the judiciary, the PDP conceded electoral defeat in Edo, Anambra, and Imo states without attempting to collect victory through executive manipulation of the judicial process.
“The PDP restates unequivocally that this judgments must not stand in view of the prevailing inherent contradictions, in addition to the huge threat they portend to our democracy and national stability.
“Finally, the PDP charges all lovers of democracy, particularly our members in Rivers and Akwa-Ibom state not to be daunted, as these judgments will not stand the test of the law and the will of the people. We therefore reassure that the PDP will do all within the ambit of the law to resist this criminal attempt by the APC to steal and thwart the will of the people.
Signed:
Chief Olisa Metuh
National Publicity Secretary

NIGERIA TO REDUCE FUEL PUMP PRICE, SAYS OSINBAJO

Nigeria's Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has revealed that the government is working on a medium-term reduction of the pump price of petroleum products.
According to him, the Muhammadu Buhari administration is working on ensuring that private refineries work, while reducing importation of refined petroleum.
“We are unbundling the NNPC so that its various components are effective core centres and are able to do their business well,” he told Bloomberg in an interview.
He said the government was going to reduce the role of the NNPC to its main objective of regulating the sector and ensure a reduction of pump price of petroleum products.
“We are going to have private refineries at the site of the old refineries, so they can benefit from the available infrastructure.
“We think that in the medium term, we would be able to get cheaper pump price, pump price of oil would be cheaper because we would be importing far less fine petroleum. A lot of that would be produced locally.
“Now, we have well over 30 modular refineries, so we think a lot of modular refineries would come. Many of them, their major concern is feed stock, are we going to be guaranteed feed stock?
“We are working on that. Once we are able to deal with that, we think that we would be able to reduce pump price and get the whole business of importation of refined petroleum and the NNPC getting directly involved; we are going to reduce that.
“The ultimate objective of course is to have NNPC regulatory, playing a more regulatory function as the private sector takes most of the downstream.”

PHOTOS; 4 WOMEN ACCUSED OF WITCH CRAFT, BEATEN AND BURNT BY ANGRY MOB.

The video was initially shared on social media by students, who, according to one source, did it to show they approved of the torturers' actions.

The Guardian was told by two PNG sources the women were accused of sorcery after a young man fell ill in a village in Enga province in August.
Social media posts said the women were accused of “invisibly” taking the man’s heart, and then putting it back after they were tortured. In their attackers’ eyes this would also prove their guilt as sorcerers.

“There’s no real way they can prove themselves innocent,” one PNG source who has been involved in rescues of victims of sorcery-related violence, told Guardian Australia. “Once they’re suspected they’re basically done for, they’ll be tortured and maybe killed as well.”
It’s not police photos or anything of the crime being shared,” said the source involved in rescues of victims.
“It’s actual participants who are there and actually bragging about what they’re doing. It’s kind of like a Abu Ghraib video or something.”
He said he was aware of many people sharing the video on their smartphones, including high school students, and said it wasn’t out of horror but rather approval for the actions being taken against the four accused women.
“There’s no logic going on in the matter … To try to talk logically, even to students, doesn’t really get you very far. They say, we have evidence and you ask what kind of evidence and they say it’s invisible evidence you can’t see it,” he said.
“It’s hard to argue against that.”
"The PNG Government has approved a National Action Plan against Sorcery Accusation Violence. Now it must be implemented effectively and as soon as possible by everyone concerned including police, the legal system, health, education, NGOs, community leaders and the churches."
The incident is just one of numerous acts of violence or death related to accusations of sorcery. Anger is increasing among Papua New Guineans as the attackers go unpunished.

HEALTH; WATER MELLON HELPS REDUCE THE RISK OF GETTING CANCER

Watermelon is a “wonder fruit” and the perfect example of food that can help you stay hydrated. The juice is full of good electrolytes, not only great on a hot day, but also helps to quench the inflammation that contributes to conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, asthma, atherosclerosis, and even cancer.
Watermelon contains mostly water but the refreshing fruit is loaded with goodness. Each juicy bite is loaded with powerful nutrients. Like other fruits and vegetables, watermelons may be helpful in reducing the risk of cancer through their antioxidant properties.
Most of the most important antioxidants in nature, such as vitamin C (which boosts the immune system), vitamin A (which maintains eye health), and vitamin B6 (which augments brain function), are found in watermelon.
Two important anticancer agents, carotenoid and lycopene are are present in high quantities in watermelons. As a matter of fact, watermelon has the highest concentration of lycopene of any known fresh fruit or vegetable.
Lycopene is a phytonutrient, which is a naturally occurring compound in fruits and vegetables that reacts with the human body to trigger healthy reactions. It is also the red pigment that gives watermelons, tomatoes, red grapefruits and guavas their colour. Scientists have taken notice of watermelon’s high lycopene levels.
Lycopene has been widely studied in humans and found to be protective against prostate, lung, colorectal, endometrial, and breast cancers. Lycopene has also been shown to help prevent heart disease. It has also been linked with heart health, bone health and prostate cancer prevention. It’s also a powerful antioxidant thought to have anti-inflammatory properties.
Try this great tip today. Cut a medium or large watermelon into small pieces and remove the seeds. Take about two cups of the diced watermelon and put into the blender. Add strawberries and some yogurt or milk and a little honey. If you want it a bit thicker, add a couple of bananas or avocado for added taste. Blend and enjoy!

NEW STAGE IN FASHION, BAG WITH A CHARGING UNIT.

DOLAPO Otunla’s statement in the fashion industry  might seem conclusive with the three heeled and aluminum OYSBY Shoes; but, one must not underestimate the power of a fashionable, yet geeky, female engineer who has taken a bold step into the future of the fashion world by designing the Damaris Solaris.
A perfect fusion of technology and fashion; the Damaris Solaris bags offers the user room to look professional and be in tune with fashion trend. The bag is built using only high quality materials and is properly handcrafted using fine stitching and a solid construction which enables the bag to endure high levels of daily use while maintaining its good looks.
The clipping mechanism which is made from a solid and durable metal enables the bag to withstand constant opening and closing. Measuring up at 28cm high, 50cm wide and 10cm deep; it’s the perfect size that suits many needs with two large zip pockets and three internal compartments, the bag provides ample space for individual use.
Every Solaris bag comes with a built in charger unit, which can be fully charged beforehand via a mains-socket in under 3hrs; hence, providing a full charge for up to two handheld devices. The charger unit can also be topped up by the integrated 13x12cm Solar Panel which can charge up to 2 phones (and a tablet) at once that allows the user to get the most out of their devices.
Inspired by the need to combine her skills as an engineer with her flair for fashion, Dolapo designed the leather solar bags to provide added functionality in bags, initiating a lifestyle concept in which people make purchase decisions based on both style and function.
This bag is no doubt going to be in high demand in Nigeria- thanks to our power sector.

"FUEL SUBSIDY HAS TO GO" SANUSI SAYS TO BUHARI

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi 11 said yesterday that President Muhammadu Buhari should remove the subsidy  on fuel  if the economy must be saved.
“This fuel subsidy has to go,” the former Central Bank governor declared at the All Africa Business Leaders Award West Africa held in Lagos.
Sanusi, who spoke extensively on the state of the economy, said the country can no longer afford the many leakages that have battered the economy over the years.
Quoting CBN figures,he said: “in the  first two quarters of this year, this country  spent over 500 billion naira on debt servicing. At end of this year, it will be over 1trillion  which is more than the amount of money budgeted for health, education and defence combined.
“There is no room in the government’s balance sheet for borrowing and spending. We have no option but to block leakages and to stop non-priority expenditures.
“It is for this reason that we cannot afford to spend all our time talking about the past. It is time to look at what we are doing now and ask ourselves if the fiscal stance and monetary stance are the appropriate stances for the situation we are in.
“Does it make sense at this time for the government to continue paying petroleum subsidy? It does not, and we must say it.
“When you need fiscal consolidation, when you cannot borrow, when you are not earning because oil prices are down, you have to shut down, especially those expense lines that have been known historically  to be the sights of those seeking  rent. This fuel subsidy has to go.”
He also called for the expansion of  the tax base and an increase in VAT

EFCC ARREST 2 BANKERS FOR STEALING N2.8 BILLION

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested two top bankers over another round of N2.8 billion pension fraud.
Those arrested are said to be staff of a second generation bank in the Abuja Central Business District.
The pension cash, which was lodged in five accounts in the bank was also traced to the United Arab Emirates.
It was learnt that the EFCC was probing the alleged COLLABORATION” between the two suspects and a former chairman of Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.
Maina could not be located since the EFCC filed charges against him for allegedly being unable to account for billions of naira alongside a former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Steve Oronsaye, for a phony biometric exercise..
Findings revealed that the two bankers were arrested on October 22 following what a source described as “fresh evidence that they are managing proxy accounts for Maina.”
A document on the preliminary investigation by the EFCC reads in part: “The accounts, which have over time witnessed massive inflow of slush funds, include two corporate and three individual accounts.
“The first individual account opened in the name of Abdullahi Faizer had a turnover of N1.5 billion while the other operated in the name of Nafisatu Aliyu recorded a turnover of over N100 million
